Alternative to Photoshop

Hi all,

I just ran into this the other day and thought I'd pass it along. I've not used Affinity Photo software nor am in any way associated with them but it looks interesting. It can be seen here:

The opportunity is that you can buy it for the one-time expense of C$70 and thus avoid Adobe Photoshop's (perpetual) subscription. While Photoshop IS the industry standard (and I use it lots and love it), Affinity seems to have many of the bases covered.

Note: Photoshop is incredibly wide and deep from a capability perspective but can be intimidating to use. That being said, I find that most any Photoshop question I have will be quickly answered with a Google search. Learning Affinity Photo might be more difficult depending upon the installed base and how active the users are in sharing their collective wisdom (Speculation on my part) unless their user interface is super-intuitive.
