To help everyone to keep active over the summer months we thought it would be fun to have a monthly challenge to keep the dust from gathering on your cameras.

Each month will have a topic or topics. Once the challenge is over a Drop Box link and/or an email for submissions will be sent out and a Audio Visual show will be made for the night we have our “Dan Gillespie” A/V show presentations.

Topics according to months:
June – Red, Blue, Green (images can be of anything)
July – Pink, Yellow, Mauve (images can be of anything)
August – Firework, Midways, Cars
September – People, Water

You can submit up to 6 photos per month.  Submissions will be open at the end of summer and details will be sent out later.

Image Standards

Files must be saved as JPG.
The colour format must be sRGB for projection standards.

Images must be resized to maximum 1920 pixels wide and maximum 1080 pixels high. Therefore a horizontal image can be no larger than 1920 wide by 1080 high and a vertical image can be no larger than 1080 wide by 1080 high. Smaller images will be displayed at their native size with a black background. Alternatively, you can add your own background (if you want a different colour, for example) to an image to make the final size 1920 by 1080 @ 300px resolution.

Please name digital files using the following protocol: photographersname_MonthTopic.jpg
Example: SallyBlack_JuneRed.jpg
